This summary and promotion meeting reviewed the achievements and experiences of the PAC project over the past decade. Representatives of the participating project expert team, project hospital representatives, and other parties conducted multidimensional discussions on the protection of female fertility, and made prospects and plans for the future development direction of the project. After ten years of development, the PAC project has established PAC consultation rooms in 1326 project hospitals in 31 provinces and cities across the country, benefiting more than 13 million women in total. The project focuses on the health needs of women and relies on the project hospital as a platform to carry out reproductive health education and consultation services for women of childbearing age, effectively reducing the rate of repeated miscarriage, caring for women's reproductive health, and protecting women's fertility. In August 2018, the National Health Commission issued the "Norms for Contraceptive Services after Induced Abortion", which drew on the experience of the PAC project in the process of formulating the "Norms for Contraceptive Services after Induced Abortion". This measure also fully recognized the positive role of the "Post Abortion Care (PAC) project" in the field of female reproductive health. At the meeting, Wu Shangchun, a researcher at the Institute of Science and Technology of the National Health Commission, officially released the "PAC Project 10-year Evaluation Report" to the public.
