At the declaration policy promotion meeting held on the 17th, the relevant leaders of the National Art Fund Management Center provided guidance on the application and review of annual funding projects based on the basic situation, new changes, and requirements of the fund's 2024 application guidelines. They provided targeted explanations on the potential problems that project entities may face in the application, review, and signing processes. The National Art Fund is a public welfare fund established with the approval of the State Council, aimed at promoting the healthy development of the national art industry. Starting from 2021, it will include the Hong Kong and Macao special zones in the funding system and fully open applications. As of now, a total of 20 projects in Macau have been successfully shortlisted. In the new year, the National Arts Fund Management Center has made full preparations for the art and cultural community in Macau. Two days ago, the National Arts Foundation Management Center held consecutive lectures, where experts from the National Arts Foundation Expert Committee explained how to tell the Chinese story well from different aspects such as stage art and visual art. They also invited representatives of project entities that have received funding from the National Arts Foundation to have a discussion, listening to opinions and suggestions from the Macau side on project application, implementation, and application of results.
