Zhang Jinsong said that in 2022, Guangdong's imports and exports to Africa and West Asia reached 600 billion yuan, accounting for 24.8% of the country's total. As of February this year, more than 8600 projects have been established in Guangdong by African and Western Asian countries, with an actual foreign investment of 7.4 billion US dollars; Guangdong has established 593 non-financial enterprises in West Asia, Africa, with an actual investment of 1.34 billion US dollars. In addition, Guangdong has supported leading enterprises to accelerate their development and layout in Africa in recent years.
