This year marks the tenth anniversary of the the Belt and Road Initiative. At the Boao Forum for Asia 2023 Annual Conference held recently, "The Belt and Road" has also become a hot topic. Over the past decade, the joint construction of the "the Belt and Road" has achieved remarkable fruitful results. The "the Belt and Road" circle of friends continues to expand, and China has signed cooperation documents with more than 150 countries and more than 30 international organizations to jointly build the "the Belt and Road". From 2013 to 2022, the volume of goods trade between China and countries along the "the Belt and Road" will expand from US $1.04 trillion to US $2.07 trillion, with an average annual growth of 8%. As of the end of 2022, Chinese enterprises have invested a total of 57.13 billion US dollars in the construction of overseas economic and trade cooperation zones in countries along the route, creating 421000 job opportunities for the local area and lifting nearly 40 million people out of poverty. Over the past decade, China and the countries along the "the Belt and Road" have always adhered to the principle of joint consultation, joint construction and sharing, taking the "hard connectivity" of infrastructure as an important direction, the "soft connectivity" of rules and standards as an important support, and the "heart to heart connectivity" of the people of countries as an important foundation, sharing economic development opportunities, deepening economic, trade and investment cooperation, and continuing to inject impetus into the world economic recovery.
