The Mediterranean Irina is the world's largest container ship independently developed by China. It was launched in March this year, with a length of 399.99 meters and a molded width of 61.3 meters; The highest single shell container layer is up to 25 layers, equivalent to the height of a 22 story building; The maximum container capacity is 24346 TEUs, and these containers can be connected from Guangzhou to Hong Kong in a straight line on the ground. The berthing operation of the "Mediterranean Irina" will carry intelligent home appliances, photovoltaic products, textiles, furniture and other products produced in the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area, heading towards the Mediterranean and connecting important ports in multiple countries and regions along the way.
