Some companies also set multiple facial verification levels to strictly prevent minors from becoming addicted to the internet. However, even so, there are still criminals who have targeted the profit space, providing "convenience" for minors to become addicted to games through operations such as buying and selling personal information, renting game accounts, and using "black technology" for facial authentication. The Huqiu District Procuratorate of Suzhou City, Jiangsu Province has handled a case in accordance with the law, prosecuting Cheng, who is suspected of infringing on citizens' personal information, and simultaneously filing an incidental civil public interest lawsuit. Recently, the court sentenced the defendant, Cheng, to seven months in prison and one year in probation for the crime of infringing on personal information of citizens. At the same time, it supported the public interest litigation demands put forward by the procuratorial organs, ordered Cheng to delete the collected personal information of minors, publicly apologize in national media, bear more than 14000 yuan in compensation for public welfare damages, and repair the damaged public welfare through participation in public welfare services.
