The Copan Mayan Ancient City Site is located 225 kilometers north of the capital city of TegucigalBrazil, with an elevation of 600 meters and an area of approximately 15 hectares. It is considered one of the oldest and grandest ancient city sites in the Mayan civilization. In 1980, it was included in the United Nations The World Heritage List. (Outlook New Era Network)
