Wang Jiangping took the transformation of the manufacturing industry as an example: "Currently, (Chinese manufacturing enterprises) are in the stage of transformation from internal resource coordination to industrial chain element coordination. This transformation is actually the due meaning of the industrial Internet, and the process requires 5G Internet of Things technology to support." He continued, "This stage is the beginning of transformation, so we say that the application of 5G has just begun." Regarding the development of 6G technology and market, Wang Jiangping revealed that according to the judgment of ITU, 6G technology will be commercially available around 2030. Currently, 6G technology is in the research stage of vision requirements and key technologies worldwide. "The Chinese government attaches great importance to the development of 6G. In 2018, we established a 6G work promotion team to gather talents from industry, education, and research to promote the vision, needs, and key technology research of 6G. We have also conducted some experiments and established a 6G development forum, which is equivalent to a platform that gathers wisdom." Wang Jiangping said, "We are committed to the development of 6G."
