On the morning of March 29, Huang Kunming, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Wang Weizhong, Vice Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Governor, Lin Keqing, Chairman of the Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, and Secretary of the Guangzhou Municipal Party Committee, met in Guangzhou with the visiting Prime Minister Li Xianlong of Singapore and his delegation. The two sides had in-depth exchanges on deepening practical cooperation between Guangdong and New Zealand and promoting win-win development. Huang Kunming, on behalf of the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial Government, welcomed the visit of Li Xianlong and his entourage, expressed gratitude to Li Xianlong for his long-term high attention and vigorous promotion of exchanges and cooperation between Guangdong and Singapore, and briefly introduced the economic and social development of Guangdong, especially the promotion of the construction of the Greater Bay Area of Guangdong, Hong Kong, Macao. He said that Guangdong and Singapore have a deep foundation of exchanges, and in recent years, various cooperation under the framework of the comprehensive cooperative partnership between China and Singapore that keeps pace with the times has shown good momentum. The construction of the three major cooperation platforms of the Guangdong Temasek Joint Commission will build them into landmark cooperation projects with exemplary significance, continuously deepen practical cooperation between the two sides in such fields as economic and trade investment, smart cities, digital economy, biomedicine, inclusive finance, science and technology education, and cultural tourism, and promote the achievement of more fruitful results to achieve high-quality mutually beneficial and win-win development. His Excellency the Prime Minister has visited Guangdong many times and has been committed to promoting the deepening of all-round cooperation between Guangdong and Singapore. He hopes that through his visit, we can further strengthen multi-level and multidisciplinary exchanges between the two regions, continuously deepen mutual understanding, and effectively enhance the friendship between the two peoples. We also welcome more Singaporean enterprises to invest and prosper in Guangdong, become bigger and stronger, and share the dividends of Guangdong's development. Li Xianlong expressed his pleasure to visit Guangdong again.
