Recently, Huizhou went to Europe to carry out investment promotion and exchange activities. The city delegation went to France, the Netherlands, and Germany to sign investment agreements with six enterprises, including Shell, Legrand, Yilishule, and ADO. The total investment of the six projects is 14.97 billion yuan. The electronic information industry is one of the two pillar industries in Huizhou, and Zhongkai High-tech Zone is the "main battlefield" for Huizhou to develop the electronic information industry. Legrand, a French company, is a global benchmark in electrical and intelligent building systems. It entered Huizhou for development in the 1990s, took root in Zhongkai and increased its capital several times. In France, the Huizhou delegation paid a visit to the senior management of Legrand's headquarters and signed an investment cooperation memorandum. The Huizhou delegation also held a promotion meeting on the investment environment in Huizhou, witnessed the signing ceremony between the Zhongkai High tech Zone and the French Sino French Economic and Trade Business Cooperation Association, and unveiled the Huizhou Zhongkai European Investment Promotion Liaison Station. The petrochemical energy and new materials industry is another pillar industry in Huizhou, and the "main battlefield" is Huizhou Daya Bay Development Zone. In the Netherlands, a delegation from Huizhou visited and inspected the Shell Amsterdam Energy Transformation Park and the Shell Technology Innovation Center, and exchanged in-depth views with the senior management of Shell Chemical on accelerating the construction of the third phase of CNOOC Shell. Daya Bay Development Zone has signed an investment agreement with CNOOC Shell for the polycarbonate project (DPC/PC), with a total investment of 9.3 billion yuan. The project will construct 240000 tons/year bisphenol A device, 220000 tons/year diphenyl carbonate device, and 260000 tons/year polycarbonate device. The project is planned to start construction within the year. Upon completion, it will comprehensively improve the overall energy utilization efficiency of Daya Bay Petrochemical Zone, and extend the energy and new material industry chain of Huizhou Petrochemical, Promote the high-end and differentiated development of petrochemical products, and help build a world-class green petrochemical industry highland. Currently, Huizhou is continuously promoting the expansion and upgrading of Huizhou Port. The Huizhou delegation inspected the advanced experience of Rotterdam Port in the Netherlands in building a green ecological port, logistics and trade port, and connected with many enterprises such as Royal Vopak Group of the Netherlands, Germany Oude Oil Storage Group, and Mabo Group. In Hamburg, Germany, the Huizhou delegation discussed with the senior management of the world-renowned ultra-fine enameled wire manufacturing enterprise Yilishule Company on promoting the completion and production of the electromagnetic wire project under construction in Huizhou Boluo, and signed a capital increase and production expansion agreement.
