It is reported that the FY-3 F satellite is expected to launch in August. As an orbital satellite in the morning, the satellite will take over the in-orbit business of Fengyun No.3 C satellite, mainly used in weather forecast, ecological environment, disaster monitoring and other business and research. FY-3 F is equipped with 10 payloads, 2 payloads are newly developed, and 3 payloads are upgraded. The Fengyun III G satellite is expected to launch in April. As the first low inclination orbit precipitation measurement satellite in China, the satellite is mainly used for the monitoring of severe precipitation in the disastrous weather system and provides the three-dimensional structure information of precipitation in the middle and low latitudes of the world. Four payloads have been configured for FY-3 G satellite, two payloads are newly developed, and one payload is upgraded. After the successful launch of the two new satellites, China will become the only country in the world that operates four low-Earth orbit civil meteorological satellites in the morning, evening, morning, afternoon and tilt at the same time, further giving full play to the overall advantages of the complete observation network of low-Earth orbit meteorological satellites. Up to now, China has successfully launched two generations of 19 Fengyun meteorological satellites of type 4, of which 7 are in orbit and continue to provide data products and services to 126 countries and regions around the world.
