This is the fourth activity of the "Spring Silkworm and Silk" art workshop, which aims to let children deeply experience the "weaving" system in agricultural civilization and perceive the beauty of nature's art. The "Spring Silkworm Silk" art workshop is a part of the "Beauty, in the mountains, in the fields, by the stream - the public welfare project of the art workshop for children's aesthetic education in rural areas". The project is sponsored by the Art Museum Group of the Chinese Academy of Fine Arts. Since its launch in 2021, it has launched eight thematic workshops, including plant fiber woven wall hangings, "Qingqingzijin · Hanfu Design", "Spring Silkworm Silk" series, woodblock New Year picture rubbing, and beautiful campus wall painting action, and won the National Art Museum's excellent public education project in 2021 by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism. A few days ago, children's folk arts and crafts experience series courses were launched in the central primary school of Fangqian Town, Pan'an County. This time, Sun Wencong, the inheritor of Ningbo's intangible culture, gave the students an experience lesson in Cixi Noodle Making. "Come, let's count down 30 seconds together." I saw pieces of soft dough rubbing in Sun Wencong's hand, like a magic trick. In half a minute, a vivid golden chicken image appeared in his palm. Then, the dolphins leaping out of the water, the charmingly naive parrots, and the Monkey King holding the golden cudgel were all released, which attracted the astonishment of the primary school staff. In the next experience time, the children follow the teacher's steps, add their own preferences and imagination, and make their own faces step by step. "Intangible cultural heritage is the carrier of homesickness. When children learn these folk skills, they will never forget their hometown no matter how far they go when they grow up." Sun Wencong said. At Shuangfeng Central Primary School, more than 40 children are creating colorful murals on the playground wall. On the huge wall, abstract color blocks full of motion gradually take shape, with both rhythm of movement and visual impact of color. "In the process of painting and paper-cutting, I feel like a real artist," said Yang Zijun, a senior. Mr. Han Jia, who participated in the teaching, said that the mural course also combined the skills of children in paper-cutting. "I hope that through this creation, students can break through some of the limitations of art in the past and broaden the thinking boundary".
