Many car enterprises and dealers are taking advantage of the New Year holiday to digest inventory. "On the whole, the exhibition plays a big role in promoting consumption. Zhou Fatao, secretary general of Guangdong New Energy Automobile Industry Association, summarized that some auto enterprises have also increased their promotion efforts, for example, starting from 2023, The "national subsidy" for new energy vehicles was officially withdrawn, but during the whole New Year's Day holiday, many car enterprises paid their own money to let consumers enjoy the preferential prices before the withdrawal of the "national subsidy". From January to November last year, the total retail sales of consumer goods in Guangzhou reached 949.686 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 1.9%, and the retail sales of automotive products above the designated size increased by 6.0%, of which the retail sales of new energy vehicles increased by 91.0%.
