The Huangshan Site in Nanyang, Henan Province may be a regional "ancient country"

On January 5, the 2022 Henan Archaeological Work Achievement Exchange Meeting was held in Zhengzhou. Zhang Mingzhe of Henan Provincial Institute of Cultural Relics and Archaeology introduced at the meeting that Nanyang Huangshan Site may be a regional "ancient country". Huangshan Site, located in Huangshan Village, Nanyang City, is about 3 kilometers away from Dushan, a famous jade mountain in China. It is a prehistoric cultural relic that spans Yangshao Culture, Qujialing Culture and Shijiahe Culture in the Neolithic Age, and is well preserved layer by layer. It can be called an archaeological wonder of "3000 years before history". The data map shows that the Huangshan Site in Nanyang, Henan is very close to Dushan. (Liu Xinshe)
