In the contemporary era, Jingdezhen's ceramic craftsmen have formed an artistic firewood kiln called "Songna firewood ware" through continuous research, exploration, improvement and trial firing of the kiln. This kind of kiln can not only re burn Jingdezhen ceramic works in various historical periods, but also fully meet the firing conditions of various contemporary ceramic arts. It can vividly show the magic charm of "entering the kiln in one color and leaving the kiln in myriad colors". More than 100 pieces of works presented in the "Songna Firewood Ware Jingdezhen Ceramic Firewood Kiln Firing Skill Exhibition" were created by dozens of Chinese arts and crafts masters, national level inheritors of intangible cultural heritage, Chinese ceramic art masters, professors, provincial arts and crafts masters, and were fired in the "Songna Firewood Ware" kiln, demonstrating the historical connotation and era value of contemporary art ceramics and firewood kilns.
