"Celebrating the 25th anniversary of Hong Kong's return to the motherland - the first All Hong Kong Youth Chinese Culture and Tourism Knowledge Contest" held an award ceremony at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center on the 18th. The competition attracted more than 6000 students from nearly 160 universities, middle schools and primary schools in Hong Kong. They won the first, second and third place respectively in the team competition and individual competition, and more than 60 students won awards of excellence. According to the organizer, the preliminary contest of this knowledge contest was held from October to November through online answering, and the final contest was held from December 17 to 18. The competition focuses on cultural and tourism knowledge such as natural geography and human history in various parts of the motherland, aiming to strengthen patriotism education for Hong Kong teenagers and enhance their cultural identity and national pride. Wang Kaibo, vice chairman and deputy editor in chief of Dagong Wenhui Media Group, said in his speech that how to make Hong Kong teenagers better understand and get closer to Chinese culture is not only the responsibility of educators, but also a common topic for all sectors of society. I hope that the contestants can not only achieve excellent results in this knowledge contest, but also polish their eyes to discover beauty, increase their love and inject their motivation into the industry.
