The Ningbo Council for the Promotion of Trade and the International Chamber of Commerce promoted the "Ningbo Connect the World" - RCEP (Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement) trade promotion plan. Dozens of enterprises from Ningbo and Indonesia participated in the fair. Indonesian Chinese General Chamber of Commerce, Indonesian Zhejiang General Chamber of Commerce, Indonesian Toy Merchants Association, Indonesian Retailers Association and Indonesian Electronic Enterprises Association also sent representatives to attend the meeting. Xu Guangxian, president of the Ningbo Council for the Promotion of International Trade and the International Chamber of Commerce, delivered a speech at the conference, saying that in order to seize the rare opportunity for the implementation of RCEP, continue to amplify the positive effects of RCEP, and better share the development dividend of RCEP, Ningbo is willing to strengthen cooperation with the business communities of RCEP member countries, and add new impetus to the recovery and growth of the regional economy through three specific cooperation measures. First, build a cooperation mechanism with the business community of RCEP member countries, and organize Ningbo enterprises to participate in various business activities under the existing multilateral mechanism; Second, set up an economic and trade cooperation platform for RCEP member countries, and choose Indonesia, Japan and other countries to create a series of brand self held exhibitions or Ningbo famous product exhibitions; The third is to optimize the commercial legal service system, organize the publicity and training of RCEP related knowledge, and improve the level of intellectual property protection of enterprises. Zhang Jinxiong, the general chairman of the Indonesian Chinese Chamber of Commerce, also recorded a video to address the conference. He said that Indonesia has a population of 270 million, huge market potential, rich natural resources, and strong economic complementarity with China. Over the years, China Indonesia economic and trade relations have been very close, and the trade volume has exceeded 100 billion US dollars. He hoped that Chinese investors would pay attention to the Indonesian market, actively invest in Indonesia and seek common development.
