Data shows that since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, the national discipline inspection and supervision authorities have investigated and dealt with more than 650000 corruption and style problems involving education, medical care, old-age social security, law enforcement, justice and other areas of people's livelihood. The Central Commission for Discipline Inspection has cooperated with the National Bureau of Statistics to carry out public opinion surveys for ten consecutive years. The survey results this year show that 97.4% of the people believe that overall strict governance of the Party is effective, an increase of 22.4% over 2012.
