Recently, the State Forestry and Grassland Administration released a new list of 26 national forest cities. Up to now, the number of national forest cities in China has increased to 219. Since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, the State Forestry and Grassland Administration has prepared the Guiding Opinions on Focusing on the Construction of Forest Cities, printed and distributed the National Forest City Development Plan (2018-2025), formulated the industry and national standards for the National Forest City Evaluation Indicators, issued the National Forest City Management Measures (for Trial Implementation), and organized a publicity campaign on the theme of "Forest City · Forest Benefits the People", The construction of forest cities has been promoted in a scientific and orderly manner, and the construction of forest cities has shown a good momentum of vigorous development. The State Forestry and Grassland Administration requires firmly establishing and practicing the concept that green water and green mountains are golden mountains and silver mountains, transforming the achievements of forest city co construction into the ecological well-being of people's livable and employable, and playing an important role in building a beautiful China and realizing the Chinese path to modernization of harmonious coexistence between man and nature.
