Li Zhanshu Meets with Prime Minister Shabaz of Pakistan

Li Zhanshu, Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, met with Prime Minister Shabaz of Pakistan in the Great Hall of the People on February 2. Li Zhanshu said that the Premier's official visit to China soon after the successful conclusion of the 20th CPC National Congress reflects the special friendship between the two countries. China is willing to work with Pakistan to promote "iron core" friendship, strengthen strategic cooperation, deepen practical cooperation, strengthen people to people and cultural exchanges, and promote the building of a closer China Pakistan community of shared future.
