On November 1, Li Zhanshu, Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, and Wang Yang, Chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, met respectively with Nguyen Phu Trong, General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, at the Diaoyutai State Guesthouse. The National People's Congress of China is willing to further strengthen exchanges and cooperation with the Vietnamese Congress and contribute to deepening the China Vietnam comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership in the new era. Nguyen Phu Trong said that he expected Vietnam and the National People's Congress of China to further strengthen exchanges, jointly implement the consensus reached by the top leaders of the two parties, and promote the friendly cooperation between China and Vietnam of "comrades and brothers" to bear new fruits. Shen Yueyue, Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, attended the meeting. After the 20th National Congress, the Chinese side received General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong's official visit to China, which shows that China attaches great importance to the special relationship of "comrades and brothers" between China and Vietnam and highly values the traditional friendship between the two peoples. The CPPCC is deeply studying and implementing the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, and is willing to work with the Vietnam Motherland Front to implement the consensus reached by the top leaders of the two parties, carry forward the traditional friendship between China and Vietnam, deepen friendly exchanges at all levels, carry out exchanges of experience in participating in and deliberating on state affairs and other fields, and make positive contributions to building a China Vietnam community of common destiny with strategic significance. Nguyen Phu Trong congratulated the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China on a series of important theoretical and practical achievements, and expressed that the Vietnam Fatherland Front is willing to strengthen exchanges and cooperation with the CPPCC National Committee of China, pool the strength of all sectors of society and domestic and foreign resources, and promote the further development of Vietnam China relations.
