On the 30th, the National Library held a special activity to promote the reading of "One Hundred Classics of Chinese Traditional Culture", an open class of national maps, which is "a bright heart to commemorate the 550th anniversary of Wang Yangming's birth". Wang Yangming is a famous thinker in China and a master of Confucianism. This activity combines academic speeches and artistic performances to lead readers to understand Wang Yangming's life thoughts and feel his noble personality. Guotu specially invited Zhang Liwen, a professor of Renmin University of China, and Wu Zhen, a professor of Fudan University, to give keynote speeches on the open course of Guotu, to give readers a detailed interpretation of Wang Yangming's philosophy and works handed down from generation to generation; Invite Wang Nengxian, a researcher of the Chinese Academy of Arts, and Tian Yanjun, an associate research librarian of the National Library, to give a special speech to explain the contemporary value of traditional classics and appreciate the unique charm of Wang Yangming's calligraphy; Ren Jing, a guqin player, was invited to play the famous guqin music "Running Water". The Capital Children's Recitation Art Troupe performed Wang Yangming's family motto "Show the Constitution", demonstrating Wang Yangming's detachment and family style. It is reported that, in the next step, the National Library will continue to plan and launch "One Hundred Classics of Chinese Traditional Culture: Chinese Traditional Classics Series Courses" on the platform of the national map open class, leading readers to feel the immortal charm and contemporary value of classical works.
