Recently, the 11th National Islamic Congress of China was held, and 295 delegates attended. Cui Maohu, Vice Minister of the Central United Front Work Department and Director of the State Administration of Religious Affairs, was invited to attend the meeting and delivered a speech. Ma Zhongping, Secretary General of the China Islamic Association, delivered a work report on behalf of the 10th Council of the China Islamic Association. In his speech, Cui Maohu fully affirmed the work of the Chinese Islamic Association in the past six years. He pointed out that since the Tenth National Islamic Congress of China, the China Islamic Association has actively promoted the implementation of the tasks determined by the Tenth Council, and has made remarkable achievements in ideological and political guidance, promoting the localization of Islam in China, solving outstanding problems, fulfilling social responsibilities, and strengthening self construction. Adhere to the orientation of localization of Islam in China, promote the adaptation of Islam to socialist society, integrate Islam with excellent Chinese traditional culture, strengthen the "five identifications", promote the localization of Islam in China to go deeper and more practical, prevent and eliminate risks and hidden dangers, strengthen the construction of teaching staff, and promote the comprehensive and strict management of education. The meeting comprehensively summarized the main work and experience of the China Islamic Association since 2016, and put forward suggestions for the next five years. The meeting reviewed and passed the Work Report of the 10th Council of the China Islamic Association, revised and passed the Constitution of the China Islamic Association, and elected a new leadership, standing directors and directors. Yang Xianming was re elected as the president of the Islamic Association of China. Yang Xianfa said at the closing meeting that China's Islamic community should improve its political standing and always adhere to the Chinese orientation of Islam in China; Strengthen cultural confidence and innovate the practice path of Chinese Islam in China; Be brave to keep upright and innovate, and deepen the construction of Islamic Confucian thought in China; Constantly consolidate the foundation and vigorously cultivate high-level Islamic talents; Administer education strictly in an all-round way and improve the self-management level of the Islamic community; Shoulder the sacred mission and faithfully perform their duties based on their own duties.
