From January to August this year, the accumulative trading volume of second-hand cars was 10.496 million, a year-on-year decrease of 7.86%, 895000 less than the same period, and the accumulative trading amount was 717.495 billion yuan. According to China Automobile Circulation Association, the national used car market showed the following four characteristics in August: first, the demand of first-line cities and surrounding markets began to pick up, especially after the gradual cancellation of the national five year relocation restriction policy, the growth in Shanghai, Guangdong and other places was more obvious. Second, from the perspective of price changes, affected by the continuous downward trend of new car prices, the price of second-hand cars has changed significantly. The average price this month is 65200 yuan, which is still in the downward channel. Third, from the perspective of inventory, used car dealers are still losing money in destocking. The average inventory cycle this month is 49 days, which is one day less than that in July. Fourth, a number of favorable policies for the second-hand car industry are gradually implemented, and the operation of the second-hand car market will improve accordingly. It is expected that the sales volume will be improved in September. According to the data, from the perspective of the structure of used car models, 868000 basic passenger cars were traded in the national used car market in August, a year-on-year decrease of 3.69%; A total of 186100 SUVs were traded, with a year-on-year increase of 11.79%; A total of 90300 MPVs were traded, up 2.9% year on year; A total of 31700 cross type passenger cars were traded, down 8.52% year on year. According to the research of China Automobile Circulation Association, cross regional circulation was affected by the domestic epidemic in August; On the other hand, with the implementation of the comprehensive cancellation of the policy of restricting the relocation of second-hand cars, the cross regional circulation of second-hand cars has gradually become smooth. On the whole, the transfer of used cars rose slightly in August. The transfer rate of used cars increased by 0.2 percentage points compared with that in July. The transfer rate was 26.92%, still slightly lower than that in the same period last year.
