There were 16 new confirmed cases imported from abroad in the whole province (5 in Guangzhou, 7 in Shenzhen, 1 in Foshan, 2 in Huizhou and 1 in Zhongshan); There were 13 new asymptomatic infections imported from abroad (6 in Guangzhou, 1 in Shenzhen, 2 in Foshan, 3 in Dongguan and 1 in Jiangmen); There were also 4 confirmed cases of asymptomatic infection imported from abroad (1 case in Guangzhou, 1 case in Shenzhen and 2 cases in Huizhou). There were 19 newly discharged cases (17 imported cases) in the province, and 602 cases (169 imported cases) are currently in the hospital; 24 asymptomatic infections were newly removed from medical observation (19 imported from abroad), and 351 asymptomatic infections were still under medical observation (138 imported from abroad). As of 24:00 on September 4, 19052 positive COVID-19 infections were reported in the province (12087 imported from abroad), including 9354 confirmed cases (4975 imported from abroad) and 9698 asymptomatic infections (7112 imported from abroad).
