"15 collective front rooms have been publicly rented, and the collective operating income obtained will be used for the renovation of community public activity places and environmental sanitation renovation." A few days ago, when the staff of the third inspection group of the Shuyang County Party committee of Jiangsu province came to Mengxi sub district of the county to check the rectification of the problems fed back by the inspection, the relevant person in charge of Xushu community said. Before that, the third inspection group carried out inspection "look back" on Mengxi sub district and extended inspection on the villages (communities) under its jurisdiction. When the inspection team came to Xushu community for extended inspection, some people reported that the community leaders engaged in "one speech hall" and rented 15 collective front rooms near the street to others to open supermarkets at low prices. In order to verify the situation, the inspection team went deep into the community to conduct inspections. "The supermarket near the street is doing well. The rent must not be cheap." The staff of the inspection team found the shop operators on the street in the community and inquired. "That supermarket has a good location and good business, but I heard that the supermarket owner has a relationship with the community leader, and the rent is cheaper than other front rooms." Said the shop owner. "In this way, the front rooms in the prime areas are not open for rent?" The staff of the inspection team inquired. "Since the street was built, there has never been an open lease." Subsequently, the inspection team visited some shop operators and got almost the same answer. The inspection team immediately verified the rental of 15 collective front rooms in the neighborhood with the community accountant and members of the "two committees" of the community. It is understood that the collective facade room was not openly rented, but was leased to Yan by Han, Secretary of the community party branch, at a price far lower than the market price. The inspection team immediately found han to understand the situation. "Yan came to me through one of my relatives and wanted to rent 15 collective front rooms on the street to open a supermarket. Because of my love, I didn't rent them openly and directly gave the front rent to Yan as a gift." In the face of the evidence collected by the inspection team, Han knew that he could not deny it and admitted his violation of discipline. In June 2011, Han rented 15 collective front rooms with a total of 540 square meters on the street of the community to Yan at a price of 130000 yuan per year without public invitation. The lease term was 6 years. In July 2014, Han lowered the rent to 100000 yuan and extended the lease term on the ground of water leakage. Subsequently, the inspection team handed over the clues of Han to the county Discipline Inspection Commission, and asked Mengxi sub district to conduct self-examination and self correction on the disposal of collective assets in various communities. Finally, the heads of three community party organizations including Xushu community and four accountants were dealt with.
