Yichun west station belongs to the section of Harbin Yichun high speed railway. This section of railway starts from Tieli City, Heilongjiang Province and ends in Yichun city. It is the northernmost high-speed railway under construction in China. The total length of the railway is 111.4 kilometers and the design speed is 250 kilometers per hour. There are three passenger stations in Tieli, riyuexia and Yichun West, of which Tieli station is a reconstructed station building and the other two stations are newly built station buildings. The total building area of Yichun west station is 19985 square meters, which can accommodate 1500 passengers waiting for the train at the same time. It is understood that there are many island shaped frozen soil zones along the railway section of Harbin Yichun high speed railway. The thickness of the frozen soil layer at the construction site of Yichun west station is 2.9 meters, and the frost heave sensitivity is high and the stability is poor, which brings great difficulties to the construction. China Railway Construction Group Co., Ltd. and the team of Ling Xianchang, Professor of the school of civil engineering of Harbin Institute of technology, adopted new technologies to achieve special soil reinforcement to achieve the purpose of frost damage prevention and control.
