There are more than 3100 "5g + industrial Internet" projects, 6518 5g industry private networks, and more than 20000 5g industry application innovation cases. At present, 5g in China has entered a critical period of large-scale application development. Application services for 5g and 2C market need to accelerate the breakthrough of 5g licensing. In the past three years, we have made positive progress in 5g user scale, terminal leadership, application innovation, etc. in the 2C market. In terms of user scale, in the first half of 2022, China's 5g mobile phone users reached 455 million, a net increase of 100.55 million over the end of the previous year, accounting for 27.3% of mobile phone users, a net increase of 5.7 percentage points over the end of the previous year. In terms of 5g terminals, the shipment of 5g mobile phones reached 109 million, and the number of new models of 5g mobile phones listed reached 112. In terms of application innovation, 5g's applications in personal users have covered key fields such as ultra-high definition video, entertainment games, sports events, home services, and online shopping. Personal applications such as virtual digital people, 5g messages, 5g new calls, AR / VR, and cloud games have developed rapidly, bringing new experiences to consumers. However, in general, the development of 5g application innovation for individual users is still in its infancy. The development of 5g users has not really embarked on the development track with application innovation as the main driving force, and there is still a lack of "killer" applications. Therefore, it is a long way to go to accelerate the digital application innovation facing the 5g 2C market. 5g and 2b market integration applications are accelerated and 5g is born for the industry. Industrial application has always been the key and focus of 5g integration application development. At present, 5g fusion application has played an enabling role in industry, medical care, education, transportation and other industries, covering 40 of 97 major categories of the national economy. The construction of the 5g industry virtual private network has been accelerated, from 1655 in July 2021 to 6518 at present, an increase of 2.94 times. The scope and depth of the 5g enabled industry have been continuously expanded, and the service capacity has been significantly enhanced. It has effectively helped the vertical industry to improve quality, reduce cost, increase efficiency and reduce carbon, and effectively promoted the digital and intelligent upgrading of enterprises in the vertical industry.
