At a distance of 10 kilometers from the base station, the signal strength is about -90dbm, and the download rate is more than 100Mbps; At a distance of 20 kilometers from the base station, the signal strength is about -80dbm, and the download rate can reach 170mbps; The download rate reaches 120mbps at the farthest distance of 50 km. Ultra far coverage pays attention to "standing high and looking far", and follows the construction principle of achieving the maximum coverage with fewer stations. Chinatelecom Shandong Qingdao Branch has built a set of communication base stations at laoding and Yakou of Laoshan Mountain respectively. Taking advantage of the height advantage of the base station at the top of Laoshan Mountain, the measured 100m bandwidth marine coverage is 60 kilometers, and the 20m bandwidth marine coverage limit distance is 122 kilometers, realizing the full coverage of the southeast sea area of Qingdao. At the same time, two sectors of Laoshan North Mountain cover the due south and Southeast directions, and one sector of Laoshan pass covers the due east direction. Three ultra far sectors are used to achieve 5g full coverage of the sea area in the southeast direction of Qingdao, which greatly saves investment costs while meeting the data communication needs of remote users.
