As the core productivity of the digital economy, computing power, like water and electricity, is becoming an indispensable basic demand in personal and corporate social activities, and plays an important role in all walks of life. According to the white paper on China's computing power development index, every 1 yuan of computing power input can drive 3-4 yuan of economic output. Computing power is an important engine to accelerate the digitalization of the industry and economic and social development, which will further change our production and lifestyle. In the era of computing power, computing power is the center and the network is the foundation. The network runs through the whole process of production, transmission and consumption of computing power. It needs to achieve efficient release of computing power, flexible scheduling of computing power, and optimal edge services, so that thousands of industries can use computing power as easily as electricity. Based on the "IPv6 +" innovative technology, Huawei has built a connection base in the era of computing. Efficient release of computing power (in the data center): the data center is the "power station" of computing power. The computing power of a single server is limited, so it is necessary to connect thousands of servers with the network to form a large-scale computing power cluster. The larger the connection scale is, the higher the connection capacity is required. For example, when massive servers exchange data, it is easy to lose packets due to sudden traffic. Taking roce network as an example, 0.1% packet loss will lead to a 50% decrease in network throughput, resulting in a serious waste of computing resources. Based on years of technology accumulation, Huawei innovatively introduced intelligent lossless algorithm into data center network switches, and solved the problem of Ethernet packet loss. With the same server size, the computing power in the data center can be increased by up to 93%. In order to build a super large-scale computing power cluster, Huawei has introduced direct connection topology and adaptive routing into the Ethernet field. At present, it can support up to 270000 servers for zero packet loss networking. Flexible scheduling of computing power (between data centers): the computing power network carries hundreds of businesses of a large number of enterprises. For each enterprise's different needs for computing power, Huawei provides it with an optimal computing network path according to the actual business situation through intelligent cloud graph algorithm and new technology based on "IPv6 +", so as to achieve the optimal resource allocation on the supply and demand side. At the same time, Huawei uses slicing technology to divide the network into different lanes according to business types and isolate them from each other to ensure efficient, timely and accurate delivery of computing power. Edge optimal service (edge computing network): new applications of cloud games, autonomous driving, vr/ AR, Internet of things and industrial Internet put forward higher requirements for network delay and data security and controllability, and edge computing came into being. Edge computing network will be an important scenario of computing power network. The number of edge connection devices has increased sharply, which requires the mutual perception between edge computing power and network to realize the joint optimal scheduling of "network + computing power" at the edge. Huawei actively explores the innovation of computing aware routing, and the network access nodes schedule the real-time traffic of applications according to the application ID, so as to improve the utilization of computing power, storage, network and other resources of the whole network, provide users with edge optimal computing services, and realize the universal benefits of computing power.
