On July 7, the 20th meeting of the National Joint Conference of religious groups was held by video. The theme of the meeting is to study and implement the measures for the administration of Internet religious information services (hereinafter referred to as the measures) and strengthen the administration of Internet religious affairs in accordance with the law. Cuimaohu, Vice Minister of the central United Front Work Department and director of the State Administration of religious affairs, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. The meeting was presided over by Yan Jue, the rotating chairman of the national joint meeting of religious groups and the president of the China Buddhist Association. Yan Jue, President of the China Buddhist Association, Li Guangfu, President of the China Taoist Association, Yang fanfa, President of the China Islamic Association, Ma Yinglin, President of the China Catholic Bishops' College, and Wu Wei, President of the China Christian Association, made speeches in connection with the actual situation of various groups. The formulation and implementation of the measures are of great significance to improve the level of legalization of religious work, effectively solve the prominent problems of Internet religion, safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of religious circles, promote the legalization, standardization and institutionalization of Internet religious affairs management, and create a clear space in the religious field of the Internet. The meeting pointed out that the measures comprehensively and accurately reflect the party's religious work theory, principles and policies, are the inevitable requirements for implementing the major decisions and arrangements of the Central Committee on religious work, for effectively solving the prominent problems of Internet religion, and for comprehensively promoting the legal construction of religious work. They are clearly stipulated in the form of departmental rules, providing a basic basis for the management of Internet religious affairs. The meeting stressed that one point of deployment, nine points of implementation. The main systems should be put into practice. We should do a good job in publicity and education, increase positive publicity and guidance, and publicize the "measures" to religious circles and the broad masses of believers. Welcome the successful convening of the 20th CPC National Congress with practical actions.
