From August 10 to 12, the 2022 World 5g conference will be held simultaneously online and offline in Harbin, Heilongjiang Province. The official website of the conference and the wechat official account registration system will be officially opened on July 5. The conference was co sponsored by the national development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of science and technology, the Ministry of industry and information technology and the people's Government of Heilongjiang Province. According to the Organizing Committee of the conference, with the theme of "building 5g ecology and promoting co creation and mutual benefit", the 2022 World 5g conference is expected to promote the global industrial chain to build an all-round, multi field and deep-seated scientific and technological cooperation system, speed up the development process of scientific and technological innovation and digital economy, make the 5g innovation chain, industrial chain and supply chain more closely integrated, further build 5g ecology, and work together to create a new pattern of sustainable development in the post epidemic era. It is understood that the 2022 World 5g conference consists of meetings, exhibitions, competitions, investment negotiations and other links. The opening ceremony and the main forum will release the key information of the state and relevant government departments on the development of 5g industry, and share the observations of experts, scholars, representatives of international organizations and industry leaders on 5g ecological construction and industry innovation. A total of 14 sub forums or theme seminars in the four major sectors of "international cooperation", "technology foresight", "5g and digital industry" and "5g+ industry application" will share cutting-edge technologies, innovative products and typical applications around the 5g whole industry chain. The boutique exhibition area set up by the conference will comprehensively display 5g's full ecological layout and 5g's cutting-edge technologies, innovative products, manufacturing and typical applications of the whole upstream and downstream industry chain by combining offline exhibition and cloud exhibition hall. The final of "5g integrated application unveiling competition of 2022 World 5g conference" will be held during the conference, and the closing ceremony of the conference will award awards to the winning projects. The "top ten 5g application cases in 2022" showing the implementation results of 5g industry applications will also be released during the conference. Wu Hequan, an academician of the Chinese Academy of engineering and chairman of the future mobile communication forum, said: "China's 5g will further integrate with industrial technology, and 'cloud driving' and intelligent empowerment will lay a solid foundation for the development of the digital economy, while preparing for the technical research of 6G." The Organizing Committee of the conference stressed that Heilongjiang Province has outstanding advantages in industrial foundation, scientific and educational talents, ecological environment and other aspects, and has great potential for developing digital economy.
