From June 23 to 24, the 14th BRICs leaders' meeting was held by video. The participating leaders reached important consensus on strengthening international cooperation against corruption and wrote it into the Beijing Declaration of the 14th BRICs leaders' meeting, which reads as follows: We reaffirm our commitment to strengthen international cooperation in the fight against corruption and are willing to strengthen experience exchange and practical cooperation on anti-corruption, fugitive and stolen goods recovery, mutual legal assistance in civil and administrative matters and asset return on the basis of respect for the legal systems of various countries. We welcome the adoption of the BRICs initiative to reject corruption havens. We will further strengthen anti-corruption capacity-building through education and training projects and strengthen anti-corruption exchanges and cooperation under the multilateral framework. We welcome the convening of the first BRICs Ministerial Conference on anti-corruption. (outlook new era)
