According to the list of the Sixth Batch of municipal representative inheritors of intangible cultural heritage published by Chongqing Municipal Commission of culture and tourism, 240 new municipal representative inheritors of intangible cultural heritage have been added. The categories of intangible cultural heritage projects include "Folk Literature", "traditional music", "traditional dance", "traditional drama", "quyi", "traditional sports, entertainment and acrobatics", "traditional art", "traditional skills", "traditional medicine" and "folk custom". According to the relevant person in charge of Chongqing Municipal Commission of culture and tourism, Chongqing, in accordance with the principles of fairness, impartiality and openness, has finally decided to publish the list of 240 representative inheritors of intangible cultural heritage at the municipal level through the procedures of recommendation by districts and counties, material review, credit information screening, preliminary evaluation by the expert review group, spot check review, review by the review committee, social publicity, etc. According to the data, so far, Chongqing has 53 national intangible cultural heritage representative projects, 59 national representative inheritors, 707 municipal intangible cultural heritage representative projects and 951 municipal Intangible Cultural Heritage Representative inheritors.
