On June 2, the U.S. State Department issued the so-called "2021 International Religious Freedom Report", listing the so-called "criminal charges" of China's restriction and violation of religious freedom, and claiming that Xinjiang, Tibet and Hong Kong have violated and restricted the freedom of religious belief. US Secretary of State Antony Blinken delivered a speech at the report conference, continuing to slander and smear China's ethnic and religious policies. In this regard, zhaolijian said that respecting and protecting freedom of religious belief is the basic policy of the Communist Party of China and the Chinese government towards religion. In China, the government manages religious affairs in accordance with the law, protects citizens' freedom of religious belief and normal religious activities, and ensures that religious citizens enjoy the same political, economic, social and cultural rights as non religious citizens. These have long been written into the Constitution and are strictly implemented and fully guaranteed. At the same time, the Constitution also stipulates that no one may use religion to undermine social order, that religious organizations and religious affairs are not subject to the control of foreign forces, and that the Chinese government will resolutely crack down on the use of religion to propagate extreme ideas, engage in extreme activities, and carry out infiltration and subversion. Zhaolijian pointed out: "the so-called 'genocide' in Xinjiang is an out and out lie of the century. China has repeatedly refuted it with facts and figures. You are not tired of listening to it. We are tired of talking. The reason why the US side has repeatedly hyped the lies related to Xinjiang, Tibet and Hong Kong is just to make an excuse to discredit and suppress China as a tool to interfere in China's internal affairs and split China." Zhaolijian said that, in fact, the religion and living conditions of ethnic minorities in the United States are really worrying. American aboriginal groups have been neglected and discriminated against for a long time, Indian culture has been fundamentally damaged, and life, spirit and intergenerational survival have been seriously threatened. In addition, there is a long-term and systematic racial discrimination problem in the United States. Gallup and Pew Center poll data show that 75% of American Muslims believe that American society has serious discrimination against Muslims. The United States also has frequent bloody incidents of gun violence, which not only desecrates sacred religious sites, but also exposes the deep-rooted cancer of racism in American society. Zhaolijian said: "in the face of the above facts, I don't know what qualifications and face the US side has to tell China what to do.
