At 12:00 on June 2, 2022, Beijing time, China's Long March 2C carrier rocket successfully launched the first orbit nine satellites of "Geely future travel constellation" at Xichang Satellite Launch Center in the form of one arrow and nine satellites. The satellite successfully entered the predetermined orbit and the launch mission was a complete success. Through the construction of "Geely future travel constellation", Geely Holding Group will build a "Heaven Earth integration" high-precision space-time information system. Geely's foresight As early as December 15 last year, Geely tried to send two of its satellites to the sky. At that time, China's kuaizhou-1a carrier rocket was carrying out the mission. Unfortunately, the flight was abnormal after the rocket ignited, resulting in the failure of the launch mission. This success indicates that Geely has taken a big step in its commercial space layout. According to the official information given by Geely Holding Group, this plan has been laid out for a long time. The satellites launched in these two times were self-developed by Zhejiang spacetime Daoyu Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as spacetime Daoyu). Its Taizhou satellite super factory leaves the factory. Geely Holding Group has five group companies, namely Geely Automobile Group, Volvo car group, Geely technology group, Geely new energy commercial vehicle group and Mingtai group. However, for the l3l4 level autopilot with higher accuracy in the future, there is still a gap in the current positioning accuracy. Compared with medium and high orbit satellites, low orbit satellites have lower cost, difficulty, launch cost and weight, and are more suitable for commercial companies to layout their own positioning and navigation systems. Spacetime Daoyu specializes in LEO satellites. Due to the low orbit height of the satellite, the transmission delay is short and the path loss is small, so the positioning accuracy is higher. By virtue of low orbit satellites, space-time Daoyu has laid out the whole industrial chain of commercial aerospace and created a low orbit satellite constellation, which can enable Geely Holding's automobile brands to realize the transformation of electrification and intelligence.
