In 2018, due to the failure to purchase imported scientific instruments smoothly, I experienced the darkest moment in my life - the laboratory stagnated for more than half a year, every day there were problems such as the cancellation of orders for imported equipment, the stuck test equipment in the customs of various countries, and the suppliers' exorbitant asking prices, which made me deeply realize that only when scientific instruments are independently controllable, can we truly achieve self-reliance and self-improvement in science and technology. Under this tremendous pressure, we raced against time and finally independently developed the magneto-optical Kerr instrument, which is the most important to us and the most severely jammed. Now we are not only using this instrument, but also supplying other scientific research institutions to help them solve the instrument problems. On the Sixth National Science and technology workers' day, I have an initiative: take the utilization rate of domestic equipment as a core application indicator for applying for national projects. This is because today we rely on imported equipment to build towers in the air, which may collapse at any time. I immediately took 16 people out of the field, experienced difficulties and successfully completed the task. In the field of lunar exploration, we have made a total of 35 years of basic preparation, and passed 10 years of demonstration.
