From the "green" segment "out of the circle" in the Spring Festival Gala of the year of the tiger in Taiwan in February, to 18 consecutive performances in Beijing Poly Theater in April, and then written into the white paper "Chinese youth in the new era..." only green "has become a phenomenal stage art work. A glance at the painting made them unforgettable for life - thousands of years later, the bright green color in the painting is still amazing. It can be said that "only this green" is a creation made by the two editors and directors. However, there are few characters and plots in the picture of thousands of miles of rivers and mountains, and there are few records about Ximeng. How to construct a stage play? "The theme of only this green determines that it cannot be presented in a strong dramatic conflict. We try to narrate with emotional logic." Zhou Liya said. "I think there is a combination of narration and lyricism in this green only. The works attach importance to the beauty of images and the beauty of rhymes, and emphasize the tenderness, tenderness and implicit comfort of oriental aesthetics. This is exactly the image that the creators want to express. For example, the choreography takes stillness as the starting point and introverted and retracted as the tone. It designs modeling actions such as waiting, looking at the moon, thinking, walking alone, dangerous peaks and lying stones, showing a kind of quiet and elegant beauty. The segment of "green" deduces this quiet and elegant beauty to the extreme. "Green" is a pure freehand brushwork in the whole play. Green clothes, towering hair bun, beautiful but not soft posture... The beauty of Song Yun enters the hearts of the audience with the dancer's gentle gait. "When we create this paragraph, we think of a state of mountains and stones and a feeling of being in the mountains. For example, the well-known 'green waist', we imagine a slow and powerful tension formed by mountains and stones in the changes of years." Han Zhen said that it's like a slow shot when browsing the mountains. The viewer feels a continuous spirit in the slow rhythm. Although only this green is based on traditional aesthetics, it is not a concrete "reproduction" or simple "restoration" of a volume of pictures of the Song Dynasty. The creators are looking for a balance point of integrity and innovation in every penny. For example, dance choreography, "we take its spirit more than its shape. It is an exploration and practice of classical aesthetics from a contemporary perspective starting from the aesthetic characteristics of the Song Dynasty." Han Zhen said. "What we want to show is the costumes made in the Song Dynasty, but perhaps there is not a completely restored song costume in the play, which is more a reflection of the aesthetic feeling of the Song Dynasty." Yang Donglin, the fashion designer of "only green", said that for example, the clothing of the "green" segment is not a special traditional song style, but it conveys the simple and elegant attitude in the aesthetics of the Song Dynasty. Qing Qing, deputy director of the dance Institute of the Chinese Academy of Arts, believes that "only this green" presents a quiet, simple, restrained and tenacious aesthetics. A large number of blank spaces used in the play also represent the openness and tolerance of Chinese culture. A retrospect of traditional culture "This painting is painted with the people of heaven and earth, but it's enough to see green!" Ximeng's monologue reflects another layer of profound meaning of "only this green" -- the color of the picture of thousands of miles of rivers and mountains that has not faded for thousands of years, which was created by the ingenuity of countless workers and protected by generations of cultural relics protection workers. When we talk about literary and artistic creation, we are often limited to spiritual production and the creator itself, ignoring material production. Lu Taiguang, director of the Institute of Marxist literary theory of the Chinese Academy of Arts, said that young Ximeng is legendary and easy to form an individual narrative, but "only this green" does the opposite. It tells a story created by an individual into a story created by a collective, which is a look back on traditional culture and a tribute to the spirit of craftsmen. Wang Kui, director of the Drama Institute of the Chinese Academy of Arts, said: "although it is a traditional theme work, it deeply shows a realistic position. Its creation closely focuses on the reality, that is, how to understand the tradition today and how to reproduce the living tradition on the stage." He said that the performance of rival artists is actually to deconstruct the realistic material carrier into the works of art, and show the group value of a painting when it is formed by tracing the material composition.
