As some primary schools in Chengguan District of Lhasa have not built canteens, Chengguan District invested in the construction of central kitchen in August 2020. After a year and a half of construction, adjustment and trial operation, the central kitchen officially began to distribute meals to many primary schools in March 2022. At present, about 12000 primary school students in six primary schools without canteens have eaten the nutritious lunch provided by the central kitchen.
