The addition of new interdisciplinary majors and strong disciplines is bound to improve the attraction of the "strong foundation plan" enrollment, but the dynamic of the "strong foundation plan" to break through the restrictions of simple basic disciplines needs to be treated rationally. The "strong foundation plan" needs to adhere to the original intention of the pilot reform - the biggest difference from the independent enrollment implemented before 2020 is that the pilot colleges and universities do not "grab students" with "popular" and "strong" majors, but are committed to recruiting students interested in basic disciplines. This reform covers both reform and training, because the plan clearly states that students admitted to the "strong foundation program" cannot change their majors. In the first year of the "strong foundation plan", the enrollment majors of the pilot universities are mainly concentrated in mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, history, philosophy, ancient philology, etc., with a very distinctive "strong foundation" feature. From the implementation of the first year, the enrollment of the "strong foundation plan" is not ideal, and some colleges and universities have not even completed the enrollment plan. The fundamental reason is that the attraction of basic disciplines to candidates is not as good as other so-called "popular" majors. In this regard, the "strong foundation plan" in 2021 has made some adjustments, expanded the shortlisted proportion and increased the "confirmation link" of candidates before announcing the college entrance examination scores after the college entrance examination, which is equivalent to expanding the scope and pertinence of material selection. However, it should be acknowledged that the problem of insufficient attraction of basic disciplines still exists. How to solve this problem? It is suggested that we should learn from the previous practice of independent enrollment and give students shortlisted in the "strong foundation plan" some preferential points for admission; Students admitted to the "strong foundation program" are allowed to change majors according to their own interests after admission; In the "strong foundation plan" enrollment, increase the enrollment of some strong majors and interdisciplinary majors; wait. The "strong foundation plan" does not give admission concessions to shortlisted students, but takes the college entrance examination results as the basis for shortlisting. It is accepted according to the comprehensive evaluation of 85% of the college entrance examination results + 15% of the school test results, and stipulates that it is not allowed to change Majors. It is to prevent some candidates and parents from utilitarian treatment of the "strong foundation plan" and take the "strong foundation plan" as the "springboard" to enter famous schools. Therefore, we should adhere to the college entrance examination results as the shortlisted threshold and implement the practice of comprehensive evaluation admission, but it can be further optimized and improved. For example, some colleges and universities can be explored. After the announcement of the college entrance examination results, they can independently put forward the score requirements of applying for the "strong foundation plan". Students who meet the score requirements can apply for several colleges and universities at the same time. Colleges and universities can conduct comprehensive evaluation and admission independently according to the college entrance examination scores and test results of the applicants. A student can obtain multiple college admission notices at the same time and make confirmation and selection according to the admission majors. This will further expand students' choice and explore the establishment of a diversified evaluation system. Add interdisciplinary and strong disciplines in the "strong foundation plan", which is to broaden the pilot professional scope of the "strong foundation plan". Whether it is conducive to further promoting the "strong foundation plan" and realizing the original intention of the "strong foundation plan" depends on what the starting point is. Of course, the enrollment majors of the "strong foundation plan" can be adjusted. For example, the enrollment majors of the "strong foundation plan" proposed by the Ministry of education in 2022 have increased mechanics, basic medicine, breeding and other majors compared with 2020. This is also a focus on cultivating talents in basic disciplines. But in reality, some colleges and universities hope to add some "popular" majors and "strong" Majors in the enrollment of "strong foundation plan", so as to attract candidates to choose. This is noteworthy. In the final analysis, the "strong foundation program" is launched for many excellent students who are not interested in basic disciplines and the decline of talent training in basic disciplines. It is expected that the enrollment in the initial stage of the pilot will be "cold". To promote this plan, we must improve the talent training quality of basic disciplines, guide candidates and parents to change their understanding of basic disciplines, and pay attention to cultivating students' interest in basic disciplines in the stage of basic education.
