In 2021, the court concluded 5555 patent cases, up 22.7% year-on-year, including 363 invention patent cases. In 2021, the court focused on strengthening the judicial protection of intellectual property rights in the key core technology field of "neck", and made an advance judgment on the infringement facts in the dispute over the infringement of the exclusive right of integrated circuit layout design between Tianyuan SMIC semiconductor company and Blue Arrow Electronics Company, so as to avoid the expansion of the loss of the exclusive owner. We will actively promote the coordinated protection of justice and administration, establish a priority review mechanism for invalid patent cases and a joint trial mode for infringement litigation with the State Intellectual Property Office, shorten the trial cycle by more than two months, and give priority to the review of 19 cases in 2021. At the same time, the court also promoted breeding innovation and the revitalization of the national seed industry according to law. In the case of infringement of new plant variety rights by Guangzhou Science and technology company and Anzu of the Netherlands, the court refined the evidentiary requirements of variety owners and supported the seed industry protection policies according to law. In 2021, the court heard 22 cases of infringement of new plant variety rights, an increase of 11 times compared with five years ago.
