Space station mission planning includes three stages: key technology verification, construction and operation. The Tianhe core module was successfully launched, and the on orbit assembly and construction of the space station were carried out in an all-round way. The tianzhou-2 cargo spacecraft was launched into orbit and docked with the Tianhe core module for the first time, completing the transportation of extravehicular space suits and astronauts' consumables. The mission of Shenzhou 12 achieved the entry and safe return of Nie Haisheng, Liu Boming and Tang Hongbo, the first astronauts of the space station. The tianzhou-3 cargo spacecraft was launched into orbit to complete the transportation of follow-up astronauts and materials. The first radial rendezvous and docking of manned spacecraft was realized on Shenzhou 13, and the second batch of astronauts Zhai Zhigang, Wang Yaping and ye Guangfu of the space station were stationed for a long-term stay of six months. "It is expected that in April this year, the Shenzhou 13 astronaut crew will return after staying for six months. After that, China will conduct a comprehensive evaluation of the verification of key technologies of the space station. After the results meet the requirements, it will move to the construction stage." Zhang Bonan told reporters that in the construction stage, China will launch six spacecraft, including Tianzhou 4, Shenzhou 14, Wentian experimental module, Mengtian experimental module, Tianzhou 5 and Shenzhou 15, to complete the rendezvous, docking and transposition of Wentian experimental module, Mengtian experimental module and core module in manned state, and finally complete the construction of T-shaped space station; After the completion of construction, the functional performance shall be tested in orbit, and then transferred to the operation stage. He also revealed that in 2022, the manned spacecraft will return as planned, two rendezvous and docking, and three emergency rescue standby ships, involving four Shenzhou spacecraft from Shenzhou 13 to Shenzhou 16.
