In terms of waterway transportation, at present, Guangdong Province can provide about 810 registered cargo ships for Hong Kong and Macao Routes for cargo transportation in Hong Kong, and about 69 public wharves that can provide berthing and loading and unloading services for materials ships in Hong Kong. Relevant ports give priority to providing berthing and loading and unloading services for ships assisting Hong Kong. Since February 19, the transportation department has successively opened six fixed-point scheduled routes from Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Zhuhai and Zhongshan to Hong Kong.
