At the meeting, the expert group had in-depth exchanges with representatives of the health department of the SAR Government on the fifth wave of the epidemic in Hong Kong, discussed the current challenges and shared the experience of the mainland in dealing with the epidemic. The expert group put forward valuable opinions. Lin Wenjian, director of the Department of health of the SAR government, expressed his gratitude to the Central People's government for its comprehensive and rapid support and to experts from the National Health Commission for their inspection and guidance in Hong Kong. Lin Wenjian said that the health protection center of the Department of health of the SAR government will continue to communicate with the expert group to explore and deepen the strategies and measures to control the fifth wave of the epidemic. The Central Hong Kong assistance prevention and control expert group arrived in Hong Kong on the afternoon of February 28 to carry out work.
