1298 treasures appear in the Intangible Cultural Heritage Museum

2022-02-11

Following the opening of the Winter Olympics, the China Arts and Crafts Museum and the China Intangible Cultural Heritage Museum, located in the central area of the Olympic Park, have ushered in an upsurge of booking visits since their opening on February 5. All 3000 booking places have been robbed every day, and tickets have been booked until a week later. Yesterday, as an important project of the series of cultural activities of the Winter Olympic Games and the winter Paralympic Games, the first heavy exhibition of the new museum, "Chinese treasures - China Intangible Cultural Heritage and arts and crafts exhibition" welcomed more than 160 Chinese and foreign journalists from the 2022 Beijing Information Center, who walked close to 1298 treasures with the audience. After nearly three years of construction, the new China Arts and Crafts Museum and China Intangible Cultural Heritage Museum reopened the door the day after the opening ceremony of the Winter Olympic Games. The pavilion is located on the north extension line of Beijing's central axis and close to the Olympic Forest Park on the West. The project has a construction area of 91126 square meters and six floors on the ground. The completion of the new museum not only fills the gap of China's National Museum of Arts and crafts and intangible cultural heritage, but also marks another important cultural landmark representing the cultural image of the country and the capital and highlighting the prosperity and development of culture in the new era. "Almost at the same time as the completion and acceptance of the project construction, we are constantly promoting the exhibition demonstration, design and exhibition arrangement of 'Chinese treasure - China Intangible Cultural Heritage and arts and crafts exhibition' by relying on the strong academic strength and rich collection resources of the Chinese Academy of art." Han ziyong, curator of China Arts and Crafts Museum (China Intangible Cultural Heritage Museum), introduced that the exhibition of "Chinese treasures", the opening work of the museum, is an important cultural activity during the Beijing Winter Olympics. The pavilion specially designed a Winter Olympics themed installation landscape from Altay to Beijing to cheer for the Beijing Winter Olympics. The opening exhibition of "Chinese treasures" is divided into eight sections, covering eight parts: Arts and crafts, guqin, traditional musical instruments, traditional art, traditional opera, gold and stone seal cutting and rubbings, traditional New Year pictures, opera performances and academic reports. A total of 1298 treasures are displayed, 80% of which are the first time for the public, Most of the exhibits are the treasures accumulated by the Chinese Academy of art for 70 years. Walking into the exhibition hall of "great country Craftsmanship", the joint appearance of the "four national treasures" of jadeite is the most eye-catching. They are the wonders of Daiyue in Jadeite mountain, the fragrance of jadeite flowers, the range rover of Qunfang in Jadeite lifting beam flower basket and the joy of the four seas in jadeite insertion screen. According to Lian Chunhai, director of the academic research department of the China Arts and Crafts Museum, the four jadeite national treasures took eight years to complete from the selection of themes and form design. They were jointly created by more than 40 famous and skilled masters. Among them, "Range Rover" is the largest flower work in the history of Chinese jade art. These four national treasures will also be permanently collected in the new museum. Lin Chen, associate researcher of the Music Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Arts and representative inheritor of national intangible cultural heritage, introduced the "ancient legacy" section, introduced in detail the "dead wood dragon chant" Qin in the late Tang Dynasty and the "Mingfeng" Qin in the Song Dynasty, and led the audience to appreciate the art of ancient Qin which has passed through more than 3000 years. It is reported that this 31 Guqin is the first collective appearance. Among them, the "dead wood dragon chant" of Tang Qin is the work of the Guqin artist of the late Tang Dynasty. The Guqin artist Wang Mengshu was sent to the Music Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of art for preservation in the autumn of 1966. It is also the "treasure of the academy" of the Academy.
