People in our village have to go to the well five miles away to draw water. In case of drought, the well water is less, and there are long queues of people taking water. The well water is bitter, and the heart is even more bitter. Second, worry about eating. At that time, we depended on the weather. Basically, there was a small drought in two years and a severe drought in three years. Almost all of us lived on grain sales. Sorghum and dried sweet potato are the staple food of the supply. I was admitted to junior high school alone in the village. Although I have to go to Jijia middle school 30 miles away, go home once a week and walk 60 miles back and forth. In the second semester of the second grade of junior middle school, I was forced to drop out of school in tears because I couldn't afford the tuition of two yuan. Today, the whole village has been lifted out of poverty. The "three worries" of the past are gone. We don't worry about eating, drinking water and dressing. Recall that in the past, we drank bitter well water, received the grace of the party, drank the Yellow River water, our next generation drank tap water, and now our grandchildren drink pure water and mineral water. Looking back ten years ago, how many people in our village could drive their own cars, but now how many people don't have their own cars? It can be said that the present is different from the past. The villagers said happily, "the draught never forgets the well digger. Always thank the party for its kindness!"
