Experts and scholars discuss Xiangxiong culture in Lhasa, focusing on the blending of civilizations on the Qinghai Tibet Plateau

2022-01-19

The second three-day China Tibet Ali Lhasa Symposium on ZhangXiong culture is being held in Lhasa. 60 experts and scholars engaged in ZhangXiong culture research from domestic universities and all sectors of society such as Tibet, Beijing, Sichuan, Gansu and Yunnan have gathered for academic exchanges. ZhangXiong culture is a civilization created by the ancient ancestors of the Tibetan nation. It is the root of the origin of the Tibetan nation and one of the ancient origins of Chinese culture. In the report of the conference, Dunzhu Raj, a researcher of the Tibetan Academy of Social Sciences, gave a report on the site of Zhilong Temple of bon in Lhasa, Xia gewangdui, a researcher of the Institute of cultural relics protection of the Tibet Autonomous Region, introduced the archaeological excavation of gebuseru in Ali Zada county from 2017 to 2020, and Mu Shihua, a researcher of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, gave a report on the status of the genetic pedigree of ZhangXiong language. During the conference, one belt, one road and another, many experts and scholars conducted academic exchanges on history and archaeology, "one belt and one road" and cultural exchanges, ancient books, folk culture, astronomical calendar, language and art. Among them, many participants focused on the role of ZhangXiong culture in forging the awareness of the Chinese national community and the exchanges, exchanges and blending of ZhangXiong culture among China's multi-ethnic groups. For example, song Fang, a lecturer at Chengdu Normal University, studied Gouxiang temple, the earliest and most famous Bon temple in the Bailong River Basin, and its "duoshun Festival", and believed that the lion dance, the detailed explanation of the spring ox calendar and other rituals in the "duoshun Festival" and the nine palaces, eight trigrams, five elements and twelve zodiac in relevant scriptures were all influenced by Chinese culture; Its rich cultural connotation shows the historical process of Sino Tibetan cultural contact, interaction and mutual reference.
