The 21st Macao City Fringe Festival, hosted by the Cultural Bureau of the Macao SAR government, opened on the 12th. A variety of local and interesting programs and activities will be staged in 29 venues throughout the city. This Fringe Festival continues to implement the concept of "the whole city stage, everywhere audience and everyone artist". Mu Xinxin, director of the Culture Bureau of the Macao Special Administrative Region government, said that this year's fringe festival takes "breaking the gap" as the theme, so that art can jump from conventional venues to places of daily life, so that every audience can get closer to art and creativity. A number of programs will lead the audience to experience different aspects of art and improve artistic interaction in the community. The immersive program 0ar, the first performance in Asia, was staged in taizai Central Park; In the "bamboo flour master" held in front of the lobby, a three meter high dough figurine will be set up on site. Some performers will play flour dolls to interact with the audience during some designated periods; A street dance duel will be staged in front of banzhang hall, featuring Latin dance and Chinese dance; The multimedia art installation "season seeking" interprets the ink art with new technology, combines the real-time weather data of Macao with the ink art, and creates a virtual and realistic display space. The Cultural Affairs Bureau specially pointed out that it will make proper arrangements for artistic and cultural activities in strict accordance with the relevant epidemic prevention guidelines of the health department. Participants must wear masks, receive temperature detection, show the personal health code of the day, maintain an appropriate social distance, and cooperate with the arrangements for epidemic prevention and on-site crowd flow measures.
