Lotus tile unearthed at zhengpingfang site in Luoyang, Henan

A large number of building components such as lotus tile, tube tile, plate tile and ridge decoration, as well as daily necessities such as lamps, plates and bowls with green, white and black glaze, have been unearthed at zhengpingfang site, Luoyang City, Henan Province. These unearthed building components are the same as those seen in the urban area of Luoyang City Palace in Sui and Tang Dynasties, with complex processes and exquisite patterns. They are mainly dated in the middle and late Tang Dynasty, which also proves that the level of buildings in the workshop is high. Archaeological discoveries show that wa appeared and used in the Western Zhou Dynasty. Under the influence of Buddhism, lotus tile Dang was very popular in the Wei, Jin, northern and Southern Dynasties, which directly affected the Sui and Tang Dynasties. The higher the level of architecture, the more exquisite the production and decoration of tiles. (outlook new era)
