The District Court of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region ruled on the 13th that in a case of illegal assembly in Victoria Park, Causeway Bay in 2020, eight people, including Li Zhiying, an anti China Hong Kong riot, were sentenced to imprisonment for 4 months, 2 weeks to 14 months respectively for inciting others to participate in unauthorized assembly, of which Li Zhiying was sentenced to 13 months' imprisonment. Among the other defendants convicted after trial, Zou Xingtong was sentenced to 12 months' imprisonment and he Guilan was sentenced to 6 months' imprisonment. Among the five defendants who had pleaded guilty earlier, Li Zhuoren was sentenced to 14 months' imprisonment, Cai Yaochang was sentenced to 12 months' imprisonment, Liang Yaozhong and Liang Jinwei were sentenced to 9 months' imprisonment, and Hu Zhiwei was sentenced to 4 months and 2 weeks' imprisonment. The illegal assembly case involved 26 defendants, including Li Zhiying, Li Zhuoren, he Junren and Huang Zhifeng. So far, 24 people have been sentenced successively, with sentences ranging from 4 to 14 months' imprisonment, and 3 people have been suspended. The other two defendants Luo Guancong and Zhang Kunyang have left Hong Kong, and the court has issued arrest orders to them.
